Grace dipped her rear tire in the Colorado and we were off.
Little did we know that there was a soft sand road that followed the railroad tracks. There was more walking than ride for about 2 miles. We finally entered the wonderful city of Felicity. Felicity is "The Center of the World". We were greeted with cheers and smiles by Jeanne. The road continued until we came to Ogilby. We made a right and head into the abyss of the desert. We stayed on Ogilby for about 11 miles. Then when you are in the middle of nowhere you turn left and ride down a dirt road for a mile... Yes, a dirt road!
We had a wonderful dinner of pizza bowls and Tang. We all felt like Astronauts!
It is fun to watch Grace make friends. It comes so easily to her.
Now it is time for bed... Morning and 50 miles comes way too early!
